Launching Igloo Nomad

Nomad Setup

Tap the Igloo Nomad icon which should be positioned on the taskbar

Transmitter (Medialooks) Setup

Tap the Nomad Transmitter Icon which should be positioned on the taskbar.

If you’ve never opened Medialooks before, it may be upset that there is no license file within it’s root folder.

The root folder will be located in

C:/Program Files(x86)/Igloo Vision/Igloo Nomad/MediaLooks Video Transport

A license should have been purchased as part of the sale of Igloo Nomad, however if one hasn’t, or it’s run out, they can be purchased from Medialooks directly via one of their sales executives.

The application should start to scan for NDI sources on the machine, and create a list of available steaming devices to broadcast.

The device you’re looking for will have the name of the Microsoft Surface, followed by UnityCam in brackets. Like in the image below

Once you select the correct stream, click Start Publishing to begin the stream. A few seconds later, the stream should appear on the Igloo computer in the VR Receiver software.

Nomad User Interface Explained

The Nomad interface is designed to be very simple. There are only 3 buttons, and a dropdown to select which camera you would like to use.

The Grid is only shown when in Spherical View.
