Igloo Nomad
Overview
Igloo Nomad is a 360 Stream creation system, that has been designed to be carried around and setup at remote locations.
It consits of a Microsoft Surface tablet, a 4G dongle, and a 360 camera. All of which are coupled together and mobile from a single tripod.
The person using Igloo Nomad then uses the video from the tablet, and a standard audio conferencing service, to talk to a group of people back in an Igloo. The people in the Igloo can then direct him to move his camera to various locations, and point out items of interest to be captured closer up by using a grid overlay.
