Using the File Browser
Create a new WebView using the Canvas Toolbar.
In the WebView toolbar, set the URL to be ‘C:\’ and press Enter.
This will pop-up the File Browser dialog. From here, click on the directory names to navigate to the PDF file. Then click on one of the PDF documents to open it for viewing.
Viewing the PDF Document
Once selected, the PDF document will be opened for viewing in the WebView layer.
Click the up arrow button (highlighted in the blue square) to hide the WebView toolbar.
This will enable the PDF viewing options to be accessed.
The PDF viewing options are displayed at the top of the page as shown below. The button on the far left enables the thumbnails view to toggled on and off. The button to the right of the scaling buttons enables auto scaling to fit the page to the height or the width of the WebView. It is also recommended to adjust the width of the WebView (using Edit mode) so that the aspect ratio of the layer is similar to the aspect ratio of the PDF page (e.g. roughly portrait or landscape). Finally, the Present option in the menu on the far right, gives a view of the page which fills the WebView layer and hides all thumbnails and menus.
TIP: use the refresh button on the WebView toolbar to exit from Present mode.
