Frequent Issues

These are the most common issues, and solutions to them.

Visual Issues

Lighting difference between each camera

Open

Solution: In both your post processing volume, and in the global settings. Make sure Auto-Exposure is set to manual, and adjusted according to your specification.

Black border around each camera

Open

Solution: In your post processing volume, ensure that Vignette is turned off.

Lumen Global Illumination isn’t working

Solution: This is an Unreal Feature issue, that may change in future updates of UE5. The solution currently requires a rebuild of the editor, with two boolean variables commented out. Instructions to achieve this are found HERE

Build / Cook Errors

Project fails to compile with a long list of errors regarding Spout

Solution: Make sure Use Pak File is disabled in Project Settings: Windows
