(1.1.0) Revizto

Revizto (https://revizto.com/en/ ) is a cloud-based visual collaboration software for architects, engineers and contractors to communicate their design within the project team in a navigable 3D environment (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revizto ).

Igloo Integration

This integration is built by the Revizto development team supported by the Igloo application integration team and the Igloo Unity Plugin.

Starting Revizto

Revizto can be launched either from a pre-created shortcut, or from Igloo Home, or a session within ICE.

You cannot start the program from Windows Start Menu if you would like to use it to output to the Igloo Software. This is because it requires an additional argument to be passed over to it when it’s launched, and that can only be done by modifying the loading process.

This can be done by right clicking the shortcut and going to properties and adding

“-igloo -force-d3d11” without quotes to the end of the target path as seen below:

Once Revizto starts, you can check if you have the correct version by selecting Preferences, and then there should be an Igloo menu subsection on the left hand side.

This is only visible when Revizto is running in Igloo mode.

At this point, you can log in and open a model if you have one available. For advice on how to create models, please view the link in the Further Reading section below.

Navigating a model using Igloo controls

Currently it isn’t possible to use Igloo based Gyroscope controls to navigate Revizto. Instead please use an Xbox controller, or similar device, and follow the below guide to use Desktop Controls

Navigating a model using Desktop controls

Ensure that the current selected controller is Revizto within the Igloo settings menu of the Preferences Tab.

This will then allow movement using mouse and keyboard, and Xbox controller using the right Thumbstick to turn.

A crosshair will indicate forwards within the Igloo structure.
