Igloo Home Reference Guide - Controllers

Igloo Home and any supporting Igloo Core Software releases are still in development. Anybody with early access to these builds should be aware that these builds may be unstable and may include some untested functionality. Please only install under guidance from an Igloo representative.

The Controller menu at the top of the tree view in the Properties section gives a choice of four devices:

mouse - use this setting when you are running Igloo Home on your desktop and using it in conjunction with Igloo Showroom. The mouse is used to control the position of the cursor in the Canvas preview section and content can be launched by pressing the left mouse button. Press Ctrl+h on the keyboard to return to Igloo Home.

igloo_remote - this setting is for use with the Igloo Touch smartphone app (this can be downloaded from Apple AppStore - search for ‘igloo vision’). The Warper must also have the settings shown below in the Config->Controller menu.

Use the Home page (above) in Igloo Touch to calibrate the gyro (point towards the screen centre and press the calibrate button), trigger content (by pressing the big button with cross-hair in the centre) and return to the home screen (press the ‘Go-Home’ button).

open_vr - this setting is used when a Vive controller is setup with the Igloo.

steam - used in conjunction with a Steam controller. Warper settings same as igloo_remote but with controller type set to ‘STEAM’. One of the XYAB buttons, e.g. B, is used for launching content and another button, e.g. A, is used to return to Igloo Home.
