Adjusting your Project Settings

The Igloo Unreal Toolkit requires additional adjustments to your project to work without crashing Unreal.

If you are experiencing repeated crashing despite following the below guidance, please get in touch with Igloo support, using the information on the root page.

Project Settings

Pak File

Set the Project Packaging setting of Use Pak File to False

Default RHI

Set the RHI to either DX12 or DX11.

Auto Exposure

Change the default auto exposure values as below:

Auto Exposure - Disabled

Auto Exposure Bias - 1.0 (Adjust to your own requirements)

Post Processing Volume Settings

Please do not use the following post processing adjustments

  • Dirt Mask

  • Exposure & local Exposure (the global setting in project settings is preferred)

If you have a Post Process volume, you must apply the following settings to overwrite the global value

Vignette

Needs to be enabled and then the value set to 0 to overwrite the global unchangeable variable.

Bloom

Needs to have it’s intensity set to 0 - Note: In some instances bloom does function without artifacts
