Igloo Annotation is a tool to allow a user to draw on/annotate the Igloo canvas using a controller, such as the Steam controller.

Setup:

Igloo Annotation is turned on and off via the Warper GUI; it can be found under config → controller → annotation:

Igloo Annotation is then controlled using a supported game controller such as a Steam controller, which we'll use for this example:

  1. DPad down - Undo
  2. Dpad up - redo
  3. Dpad left/right - cycle colour of annotations
  4. Back button - Calibrate Gyro
  5. Right trackpad (click this in) - clear all annotations
  6. Right shoulder - Increase cursor size
  7. Left shoulder - decrease cursor size
  8. Right trigger - draw/annotate
  9. Left trigger - erase

Additionally, the a & b buttons, when used in conjunction with other commands, alter the behaviour of the controller, allowing you to control capture inputs

With b held:

  • Left shoulder - Reduce the size of the highlighted capture window by ten levels
  • Right shoulder - Increase the size of the highlighted capture window by ten levels
  • Left trigger - Reduce the size of the highlighted capture window by one level
  • Right trigger - Increase the size of the highlighted capture window by one level

allows you to "grab" a capture input, allowing you to move it around the canvas with the Steam Controller's gyroscope.
