Igloo Annotation (Steam Controller)
Igloo Annotation is a tool to allow a user to draw on/annotate the Igloo canvas using a controller, such as the Steam controller.
Setup:
Igloo Annotation is turned on and off via the Warper GUI; it can be found under config → controller → annotation:
Igloo Annotation is then controlled using a supported game controller such as a Steam controller, which we'll use for this example:
- DPad down - Undo
- Dpad up - redo
- Dpad left/right - cycle colour of annotations
- Back button - Calibrate Gyro
- Right trackpad (click this in) - clear all annotations
- Right shoulder - Increase cursor size
- Left shoulder - decrease cursor size
- Right trigger - draw/annotate
- Left trigger - erase
Additionally, the a & b buttons, when used in conjunction with other commands, alter the behaviour of the controller, allowing you to control capture inputs
With b held:
- Left shoulder - Reduce the size of the highlighted capture window by ten levels
- Right shoulder - Increase the size of the highlighted capture window by ten levels
- Left trigger - Reduce the size of the highlighted capture window by one level
- Right trigger - Increase the size of the highlighted capture window by one level
a allows you to "grab" a capture input, allowing you to move it around the canvas with the Steam Controller's gyroscope.
