The ability to save the configuration of a workspace ensures that users can quickly revert to a preferred setup whenever necessary. Loading a previously saved workspace is seamless through the Workspace menu.

  • Setting a Default Workspace: For users who have a favored workspace setup, ICE provides an option to set it as the default. This ensures that the chosen workspace loads automatically upon launching ICE. This can be done by selecting Workspace → Set as Start-up workspace.

Workspace Templates

These are predefined workspace configurations designed as a starting point when creating a new workspace. Instead of creating a workspace from scratch each time, users can select a template for quick setup.

  • Accessing Templates: Navigate to the Workspace → New → Template menu in the main menu bar. From the menu, select the desired template to create a new workspace using that template and a new workspace with the predefined settings of that template will be created.

  • Creating a New Workspace Template: After setting up a workspace to your liking, you can save this configuration as a new template. Navigate to Workspace → Save Workspace as Template. Provide a unique name for the template to easily identify it later.
