Function:
Igloo Touch, in parallel with the Igloo Controller service, is an iOS and Android tool that can be used to remotely control many aspects of an Igloo Vision system. There are 3 main applications it targets:
Game Engine content:
The Controller tab provides emulation of an Xbox 360 game controller - so chosen to ensure support with old and new Igloo camera packages for Unity and Unreal. The buttons emulate the buttons with the same labels found on the right hand side of the 360 game controller, typically used for interaction. The space above the buttons represent an emulated joystick, found on the left hand side of the 360 game controller, typically used for movement. The phone can also be rotated for a more ergonomic and gamepad-esque view.
Annotation:
The annotation page provides an interface for drawing on the Igloo Warper canvas.
At the top of the page is a colour picker for the colour of the annotations.
Draw/Erase: Defines whether active annotations add to the annotation canvas or remove from them.
Capture: Allows for the movement and placement of capture windows behind the annotation layer, using the annotation cursor as a control point.
Below the Draw/Erase settings is the draw box. When pressed, either draw on the canvas at the position of the cursor (moved by gyroscope) or erase from the canvas at the position of the cursor.
Power button: Turns annotation mode on/off in the warper
Trash: Erases all annotations
+/-: Increases/decreases the cursor size
Back arrow/Forward arrow: Removes the last annotation/restores the latest removed annotation.
Warper icon: Takes a screenshot of the Warper. Saves it in the default screenshot location.
Igloo Web Controls:
URL: Enter a URL to pass to the active browser in Igloo Web.
Below the URL bar is a pad that, when clicked, sends a left mouse click to Igloo Web.
Left Arrow/Right arrow: Page back/Page forward.
Four Squares: Show tab selector.
Mouse Button Cluster: Positioned between the main click button and the keyboard/recentre icons, this cluster allows you to send standard mouse interactions such as left and right-click with the outer buttons and scrolling with a drag on the middle button.
Keyboard: Brings a keyboard onto the screen to send text to Igloo web.
Recentre Icon: Center the position of the cursor within the warper canvas. Used for calibrating the gyro. See here for the procedure.
Igloo Home Controls:
Igloo Home: Enables Igloo Home, mid content.
Recentre Icon: Center the position of the cursor within the warper canvas. Used for calibrating the gyro. See here for the procedure.
