A guide on installing, running and adding your own content to the Igloo Showroom system.
Prerequisites
You should already have either an Oculus Rift headset or a HTC Vive headset.
If you have never used your headset before, please take the time to run through the headset setup procedure, including any additional tutorials that begin on startup.
You should have your headset plugged in and initialized.
Initial Setup
Unzip the folder structure to somewhere accessible, like your desktop.
Open the Igloo Showroom 3.xx folder, and move the Igloo folder to the root of your C: Drive so that you end up with the igloo folder at the highest level.
Open the Igloo folder and navigate to the Install First directory, and systematically install each of the required pieces of software.
Go into the software subfolder, and start the programIglooWarper-Windows-v1.15.7\Igloo360Warper-Windows.exe, and IglooControl-Windows-v1.38.0\IglooControl.exe
You may want to create shortcuts to these programs for easier use later on. You can also pin them to your start menu.
Warper Licence
You may see a warning stating that the licence is invalid. This is not an issue and will not effect Igloo Showroom in any way.
Please use the subfolder content to place your HAP encoded movies. You can then drag these onto the control app to queue them ready for playback. They can then be played by selecting the appropriate tile.
Control app functionaility
You can also use the control app to:
Jump forward or backward on the playhead
Stretch and rotate content
Control Fading
Control Looping
Pause and Play content
Move to the Igloo/Software/IglooVirtual 3.xx folder, and launch Igloo Showroom 3.xx.exe
Changing Cylinder Covers
Whilst in this folder, you can also access the Igloo Showroom 3.xx_Data folder which contains the StreamingAssets folder where there is also a folder named IglooTextures, this is where you should place any textures that you would like to see displayed on the igloo structures.
Please overwrite the current texture, to see your texture within igloo virtual.
Please save the texture in the following format before adding it.
JPG - 6330px x 1617px
Put on your HMD and you will be within Igloo Virtual.
