ICE Drop allows file-sharing with your media server from a remote device.

Usage

Drag files from your device’s native file browser onto this page in ICE Control Panel, and they’ll be uploaded to be a configured folder on the media server you’re connected to. Clicking the Upload button will bring up your device’s native file-picker, if dragging and dropping isn’t your thing.

Click files to delete them (or tap twice on mobile).

Click the Delete all button to remove everything from the folder.

Pre-requisites

As for all ICE Control Panel usage, the Igloo Core Service must be installed and running on the media server.

The default upload folder is C:\Content\icedrop. If this folder doesn’t exist when the service starts, no files can be uploaded. To configure this, see https://360igloo.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ID/pages/3356196881/Configuration#icedrop.
