The Igloo Warping tool provides a computer based application that can be used in lieu of the tablet control interface. This is invaluable when a remote worker is warping the Igloo Projection environment from a physical location other than the physical installation location.

Checking the Media Server Network Connection

It may be necessary to check that the local area network settings are correct. This will start with the Media Server. To find out what IP address is assigned to the Media Server, go to the Server Desktop : -

Find the heading containing the phrase ‘Ethernet adaptor’. In this section, locate the row labelled ‘IPv4 address’. The numbers on this row, after the ‘:’ should be similar to the following, 192.168.0.100, this is the IP Address of the Media Server, note this down for later reference.

Checking the Igloo Warper and Igloo Control Connection

In order for Igloo Warper and Igloo Control to communicate with each other the network settings of the applications must be checked. Igloo Control needs to be provided with the Media Server IP address.

NB - pressing the test connections button actually establishes the connection, if the screen 1 indicator is not green, the Igloo Control app will not pass messages to the Igloo Warper, even if the IP address and port number are correct.

Checking the Tablet Network Settings

The tablet interface utilizes an application called TouchOSC, this can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play, and  a custom TouchOSC layout must be obtained, this can be found in the software directory of the Media Server. Refer to the documentation provided with TouchOSC to find out how to synchronise the layout with the tablet.
