The ICE Igloo Core Engine application provides a seamless update process to ensure that users can easily transition to the latest version. This documentation outlines the steps to follow to check for updates and access the installers for both Igloo Core Engine and ICE Igloo Control Panel from within the application.

Step 1: Launch the ICE Igloo Core Engine Application
Open the ICE Igloo Core Engine application on your Windows computer.
Step 2: Navigate to the Help Menu
Once the ICE Igloo Core Engine application is open, locate the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click on the "Help" option in the menu bar.

If an update is found, a download button will appear, indicating the availability of update
Click on the "Download" to begin the process.
The update will start downloading using your default internet browser.
You should now closing the ICE Igloo Core Engine application.
Step 6: Install the Update and follow the On-Screen Instructions
Run the installer you downloaded in the previous step
During the installation process, follow the on-screen instructions provided by the ICE Igloo Core Engine application.
It is recommended to leave the “Backup existing settings and files“ selected. This will create a full backup of ICE Igloo Core Engine data prior to upgrading, the backup will be saved to C:\ProgramData\Igloo Vision\IglooCoreEngine\archivedData within a timestamped folder.

Step 6: Open ICEIgloo Core Engine
Start the ICE Igloo Core Engine application as normal

ICE Control Panel
In addition to the ICE Igloo Core Engine application, we also provide the ICE Igloo Control Panel, a cross-platform companion app that enhances the functionality of ICEIgloo Core Engine.
Step 1: Launch the ICE Igloo Core Engine Application
Open the ICE Igloo Core Engine application on your computer.
Step 2: Navigate to the Help Menu
Once the ICE Igloo Core Engine application is open, locate the menu bar at the top of the screen.

On the download page, identify the download link that corresponds to your operating system.
Click on the link associated with your platform to initiate the download of the ICE Igloo Control Panel installer.
Step 6: Run the Installer
