You can use Igloo Reflect to bring Revit, Navisworks, BIM360, SketchUp, and Rhino projects into a real time 3D scene.
Installation
Download IglooReflectSetup.exe, from the Igloo Demo CMS on the Google drive HERE, onto the IMP (Igloo Media Player) you intend to run the program on.
Run the setup wizard, following the on screen instructions.

Once the setup wizard is complete, you will have the option to run Igloo Reflect. You can also find Igloo Reflect in the Start menu, and by using the search function.
Starting Igloo Reflect
Ensure the Igloo Warper is running.
Ensure the Igloo Control app is running.
Start Igloo Reflect from the start menu, or using the windows search function.
Within the Igloo Warper GUI (or via the control app, or Touch OSC) Enable the IglooUnity Reflect external application.
The warper should now look like this, with a view of 6 icons at the center of the screen, and a sun somewhere in the sky.
If you cannot see the icons, an adjustment must be made to the IglooSettings.xml file which is explained in more detail HERE. This will require a restart of Igloo Reflect to work, once the adjustment is made.

Signing In
Reflect is now active, and you should see a black warper output with a crosshair.

Igloo Reflect requires the following to be able to sign in.
A Unity Account (Standard or Pro)
An Igloo Reflect Unity Subscription, activated on the same account.
With both of those accounted for, click the folder user icon.
To ‘click’ objects inside the Igloo, Use one of the various methods of Igloo Immersive Control:
Igloo Remote iOS app
Steam Controller
VR wand / controller
A Projects window will open. Click the Sign In icon in the top right.

A web page should open, allowing you to sign in to your Unity account. Once complete, it should re-open Igloo Reflect, and you should now be signed in. This will be shown by your name in the upper right hand corner, along with any Reflect projects you may have created

If you have any projects, they will appear on the relevant page based on their location. If you don’t have a project, please follow the relevant guide below to create one.

Opening a Project
Local Projects
Local projects are annotated as such, with a Local designation beneath the project namefound beneath the Local tab on the project menu.

Projects not local to the IMP you’re using will have the name of the machine instead. These projects cannot be opened, despite having the open and download buttons illuminated blue. |
A local project can be opened immediately, and does not require to be downloaded. The blue open button can be pressed to start this process.Selecting the project will open it. If you click the Sync button, it will open the project in Sync mode.

Cloud Projects
Cloud projects will have the annotation ‘Cloud’ are beneath the Cloud tab and require downloading before they can be opened. This is achieved by pressing the download icon next to the open button.

. You can open it without downloading, but it will be a while before the project is usable.
To download the project, click the 3 dots next to the sync icon, and then click the blue Download button.

If the project is already downloaded, the open button will be blue, and can be pressed to start the opening processopening the project will be faster. There is currently no identification method for already downloaded projects. This will be added later in the roadmap.
Network Projects
Network projects are found beneath the Network tab, and are hosted on a machine on your local area network (LAN) and also require to be downloaded. This will be much faster than a cloud download, so is useful for extremely large and complex projects.
Viewing a Project
Clicking the Open button on a Local or Cloud project will being the loading process. You will see the model being built around you inside the igloo, as the various parts of it are loaded into the scene. Once complete you will be able to move around using the joystick on your controller. The world will be filled with Blue blocks, which are the locations of various assets. As they are imported they will turn into various models.

In the Igloo world, the forward direction of movement is wherever your red dot crosshair is pointing to. This works in full spherical 360, so if you point it down, and press forwards, you will move downwards. |

This is the basic Igloo Reflect experience, and you are now able to navigate around your model in a 360 immersive environment.
Reflect Sync
To enable the Reflect Sync feature, whereby cloud based project edits can be viewed as they are made in the original program, click the Sync icon, or open the project in Sync mode.

Once it turns green, sync is active, and changes made to the cloud model will automatically be updated in the scene.
Lighting Controls
To adjust the sun, and its lighting effect on your model, click the Sun icon. A menu will appear like the image below.

Adjusting these sliders by clicking on the slider bar in a new location, (drag doesn’t work, yet) will adjust the appropriate setting related to the suns position in the sky, and it’s effect on the model regarding lighting, and shadows. You can also use the radial menu on the right to select a day in the year, and the time of day.
Other Icons
MetadataFilters | This is currently an experimental feature, and only works with specific Navisworks exports. we will update this feature as Unity improves it. | ||
Return to Origin | Due to the way Igloo Reflect is created, this icon has no function and will be removed in a future update. | ||
Settings | This enables you to pick between two options. Better Looking and More Responsive. Due to how the igloo camera system operates, there is no difference between this options. Therefore this icon will be removed in a future update | Allows you to Show/Hide any ‘layer’ that has been pulled through from the modelling program. | |
Scene Options | Toggles textures off (colours will remain, only the textures are removed) | ||
